1. The Mirror Sees Best In The Dark

After a long gap of nine years, the contemporary artist Bose Krishnamachari has arrived in Kolkata with his extraordinary art installations. Hosted by the Emami Art, the artists are presenting his observations through contemporary Indian art as a medium. The recurring theme of the art fair is the co-existence of extremes – minimalism and maximalism – a social commentary on human nature and its obsessions, and portrays how meaningless it is.
2. 27th International Art & Sculpture Exhibition 2020

As the name suggests, this international art festival celebrates of global contemporary artist’s community. Hosted by Kolkata Nandanik, the festival welcomes artists from different parts of the India and neighboring countries to collaborate and participate in the event. Besides the exhibition, numerous workshops and cultural events are organized for budding talents.
3. Kolkata Arts Lane Festival

Hosted every year, the Kolkata Arts Lane Festival or KalFest is a daylong celebration of colors. Each year the Art Rickshaw hosts this annual event at the Hindustan Park, where the artists turn the street into its canvas and paint it in a riot of colors. Apart from painting, this year KAlfest hosted Mehfil-e-Shukhan with thirteen poets and three singers – a mehfil par excellence. Additionally, sand artist Anup Pramanick used to platform to showcase this very popular contemporary Indian art.
4. 10 Kahon – A Photography Exhibition

The third annual photography exhibition by the ever-popular ASA Photography, the 10 Kahon, is an explosion of ideas. Inspired by contemporary Indian art, the exhibition showcases Kolkata in a new light. This year the event is being organized at the Gallery Gold and would contain works of some of the most noted Indian artists.
