In conjunction with the upcoming online exhibition this edition of EA Locus in Focus will have the seven artists from the north eastern states of the country discuss their individual takes on diverged observations prevailing in the region. Incorporating highlights on the Self, society, counter urbanisation, gender fluidity and other unlearning narratives. At the same time actively demonstrating their ethnic identity as a mechanism against the racism cum discrimination experienced throughout. Rice Eaters 101 will develop an understanding and perhaps with the upcoming editions, to build insightful interests towards N.E. its strength, practices and untold stories.
