Taking inspiration from Deepanwita Das’s works made with wire, metal forms, and organic materials – currently on display at PURVAI - Printmaking in Eastern India: Pedagogy to Practice curated by Dr Paula Sengupta at Emami Art – this workshop will introduce participants to wire-weaving using copper wire. Led by the facilitator, participants would create jewellery as well as sculptural forms of their choice. The session encourages an intuitive approach to working with wire through making and exploration.
This workshop is a public-facing programme under PURVAI - Printmaking in Eastern India: Pedagogy to Practice at Emami Art on view till 7 March 2026.
NOTE: All materials will be provided.
