Vishal Kumar Gupta and Prasanta Sahu will engage in a conversation delving into Gupta’s artistic journey, set against the backdrop of his debut solo exhibition, Field Notes (On the Afterlife of Trees). Prasanta Sahu, who currently serves as the Head of the Painting Department at Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan, shares a longstanding connection with Gupta’s creative practice and has also played a formative role as one of his mentors. Their discussion will trace the stylistic shifts and evolving visual language within Gupta’s body of work, offering insights into the transformations that have shaped his artistic expression over time.
