The screening program featured a constellation of works from the curated programs, filmmaker-in-focus retrospectives, official selections, and award winners. The EAEFF Screening Program traces the institutional evolution of the Emami Art Experimental Film Festival over its initial four editions. EAEFF is a platform dedicated to curating and building discourses around alternative and experimental practices in moving image. Since its formative edition, EAEFF has emerged as a significant site for curatorial engagements and critical interventions, facilitating a global community of filmmakers, artists, scholars, and curators engaged in alternative approaches to moving image making. The screening program brought together some of the most remarkable and critically acclaimed experimental films from the festival's past iterations. Beyond screenings, EAEFF has fostered meaningful participation from artists, filmmakers and scholars through collaborations on masterclasses, talks, and workshops, furthering its investment in pedagogical exchange and discursive practice.
10 moving image works by Indian and international practitioners, the program offered a cross-section of contemporary experimental filmmaking, highlighting the aesthetic and conceptual diversity that has come to define the festival’s curatorial vision.
